Following Mashable’s list of 85 comedians to follow on Twitter, here are my favourite 10 UK comedians to follow… no particular order

Stephen Fry 600,000+ followers can’t be wrong… learn from the fountain of knowledge in 140 character splashes.

Alan Carr Another outlet for the Chatty Man.

Jimmy Carr The biggest face in comedy (literally). 140 characters is no challenge as his live show takes that format.

Britnic24

Jimmy Carr

Mark Watson Panel show favourite, also writes an excellent football blog at http://backofthenetnews.blogspot.com/

Dave Gorman Fans of Gorman’s Googlewhack adventure will know he is a webby.

Jason Manford Regular tweets from the Manchester based comic on life with Mrs M, the sprouts and Manchester City.

Bill Bailey Follow for: vey random, but often hilarious musings.

Russell Brand Love him or hate him, you can’t deny he’s an interesting guy (and I love him).

Alan Davies Fun Tweets from Jonathan Creek… the QI favourite often posts Twitpics offering a glimpse of his life and travels.

Jonathan Ross He seems films before us… and posts his thoughts on Twitter… Read ’em.
